Ciborium in finely chiseled gilded metal decorated with stylized plant friezes, polylobed foot with three medallions representing Christ (at the Sacred Heart...), lid decorated with crosses and fleur-de-lis, bowl in solid silver (Mercury 1st title hallmark ) and goldsmith's mark VF, vintage late 19th century.
This ciborium is in good condition, superb quality. The bowl is hallmarked (a little worn goldsmith's hallmark).
Please note: the silver will need to be cleaned, micro-scratches and slight wear over time, see photos.
