Chalice and paten in Vermilion money chased and filigree floral and plant motifs, decorated with small stones (Rhine and amethyst) and medallions of polychrome enamels depicting Jesus in Glory and Saints, punch Minerva (1st title) and punch Chevron goldsmith *, of XIXth century.
This cup is in good condition and is of outstanding quality. It is dated 1880 on the foot (with the name of the priest).
A note: slight gap between the node of the foot and the barrel (the chalice sometimes seems a little bent), some wear and lack of enamels (on the bowl and paten), the gilt bowl is worn, a stone on the foot is broken, tiny shocks and strains on the paten, wear and scratches time, see pictures (red foèches).
