White painted terracotta sculpture of a young nude woman lying down, signed H. Bargas *, vintage around 1930 twentieth century.

This sculpture is in good condition. Signed on the terrace.

A note: slight wear and lack of paint, small breakage and lack on one foot, wear time, vori photos.

* Henri Bargas (twentieth):

Sculptor. (Born in Paris - Ec.Fr). Active in the 20-30's. Former student of Vermare, he collaborated with E-Jaques Ruhlmann, with E-Marcel Sandoz at the Jardin des Plantes, for the study of animals, and other Parisian artists in 1925. In the 30s, he exhibited at the Salon des French artists in Paris. His sculptures are essentially classical Greek art inspired by the works of EABourdelle: Héraclès archer, Ulysse, feminine nudes ...
