Very nice sandstone sculpture representing a character by Annick Lodereau * creation of 1950/70, the twentieth century.
This sculpture is in very good condition, it is signed on the side.

Contemporary artists from the region Figeac in the Lot Valley. They are known for their sculptures in sandstone and achievements in 1950/70. Works engraved "ML" are those of Michel Lodereau and "AL" those Annick.
They are referenced in the book "Pottery stoneware, seals and signatures from 1941 to 1985" D.Goudenhooff (2010).
