* Georges Ballerat (1902-2000):

Renowned for his colors and his material that the painter likes to design himself. He exhibits regularly at the Salon d'Automne in Paris, at the National Society of Fine Arts and the Museum of Sceaux. He left Chevreuse during the war of 40 and set up his workshop on the port of Auray: Saint-Goustan. During one of his returns, he could not help working on his old subjects of youth. (Ref: Benezit, dictionary of painters of Montmartre)
