Large oil on canvas depicting a historical battle scene, episode that took place during the Hundred Years War, with a king on his horse accompanied by his guard with the Norman flag (English army) and pardoning prisoners, fighting still raging in the background at the foot of a castle, signed and dated 1772, vintage eighteenth century.
This painting is in good condition and is very decorative. Signed A. Jhlck and dated 1772 lower right. It was reentoiliated posteriorly, the posterior frame also.
