Oil on panel depicting two fishing boats at sea, certainly on the coast of Provence in the South of France, signed Van Den Bussche * in a wood frame stucco golden era of the twentieth century.
This oil is in good condition and frame. It is signed lower left. The frame is mounted to keys.
A report: small cracks and accidents on the frame, normal wear.
* Jacques Van Den Bussche (born 1925) (en Ec) of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Marseille in 1943 from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1945, his first solo exhibitions were held in Casablanca in 1952 and 1954. It begins to appear in 1953 Salon de la Jeune Peinture, Fénéon Award, Prize Friesz, then in 1960 at the Salon d'Automne. Some participation in exhibitions abroad. (Extract Bénézit)
