Oil on panel representing the scene of the Education of the Virgin, young Mary learning to read under the direction of her mother Sainte-Anne, at her side her father Joachim, perhaps a copy of an older painting by the Northern school or Flemish school, in a gilded stuccoed wooden frame, from the 19th century.
This painting is in good condition as is its frame.
