* Marie Anne de Bourbon (1666-1739),

known as “Mademoiselle de Blois”, Princess of Conti in 1680, is a legitimized daughter of the King of France Louis XIV and Louise de La Vallière. After the death of her husband, she was Dowager Princess of Conti. The princess asserts herself as the king's favorite daughter. Marie-Anne married Prince Louis-Armand de Bourbon-Conti, 18 years old, at the age of 13 in 1680. It is the first marriage between a prince of the blood and an illegitimate child of the king. Widowed at twenty and very rich, the now Dowager Princess of Conti is a free and coveted woman, notably by the Sultan of Morocco. The princess is close to her half-brother the Grand Dauphin, who resides at the Château de Meudon. In 1713, the Dowager Princess of Conti bought the Hôtel de Lorge, rue Saint-Augustin in Paris, where she moved in 1715 after the death of her father. In 1716, she acquired the Château de Choisy. She retained both properties until her death.
