Pair of oils on panel signed L. Lebas* depicting two lively scenes from Parisian life: an elegant woman walking her dog; a flower seller among the horse-drawn carriages, both in the streets of Paris during the Belle Epoque, from the late 19th-early 20th centuries.

These paintings are in good condition. Signed lower right.

* Léonie Lebas (19th-20th century):

A French painter of genre scenes and animated landscapes, Léonie Lebas is best known for her Parisian scenes from the Belle Époque. A member of the Artistes Français since 1884, she regularly appears at their Salon. (Excerpt from Bénézit)
