Oil on canvas depicting a couple of characters from the Belle Epoque walking in a sunny glade, with an elegant young woman sitting and dreaming in the foreground, perhaps in the Bois de Boulogne, by Paul Frick *, period late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This table is in good condition. The stuccoed wood frame has some damage to him. The painting is signed lower left. It has a label on the chassis "Salon of the French School Section Exempt" and this table has been presented at a Salon.

Peintr, a student of LO. merson he exhibited at the Salon of French Artists, gets a mention in 1914. (Excerpt Bénézit).
He apprenticed with Gustave Boulanger and artistic in LO.Merson. He traveled to Britain and Italy, idealizing cleverly naturalistic themes and even portraits.
