Set of three deep dishes (2 of the same model, 1 with marli) in porcelain from the Compagnie des Indes, decorated with the arms of the Thomas de Pange * family at the top (province of origin: Lorraine), Qianlong period circa 1760 18th century.

 

These dishes are in good condition. A note: a crack in the bottom of a dish, small hair in another, micro-égrenures on the edge, wear of the gilding, slight enamel defects, wear of time, see photos (see red arrows).

Coat of arms: Argent, a chevron Azure, charged with two swords of the field and accompanied of three mullets Gules. Supports: two golden lions. Wearing a crown of marquis.

Service ordered for Jean-Baptiste THOMAS (Metz 1717-Paris 1780), marquis de PANGE (1766) and lord of COLIGNY, DOMANGEVILLE and other places. In 1765, King Louis XV provided him with the office of adviser to the king in his councils and commander treasurer general of the Order of Saint-Louis. In 1773, he was given the office of grand bailiff of the city of Metz.
