Dish in piolychrome porcelain from Satsuma (Kyoto), signature of the Choshuzan workshop, decorated by Jissei, after a drawing by Yoshisada, with rich decoration of numerous characters (lords) in a landscape, a dragon writhing in the center, surrounded pagodas, trees and an incense burner in the foreground, signature on the bottom, from the Meiji period (1868-1912).

This dish is in good condition and is of exceptional quality. An identical dish is kept at the Chazen Museum of Art at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA.

Note: a small crack visible on the bottom (not visible on the other side, see last 2 photos), slight wear over time, see photos.
