Large Italian ceramic vase decorated with geometric shapes, model Rimini blue by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, signed Italy and numbered 7/42, vintage 1960s.
This vase is in good condition. Signed and numbered below.

was born in 1911 in the province of Florence, more precisely in Montelupo. He has a very young passion for creation since he joined a ceramic factory at the age of 11. He then follows an apprenticeship that will unfortunately end at the beginning of the war. Between 1935 and 1943, Londi was taken prisoner of war in South Africa. He then returned to Italy and became the artistic director of Bitossi's ceramic creation company, a job he will hold for 50 years. (see site design market)
