* Camille Le Tallec (1906-1991)

graduated from the École du Louvre where he defended a thesis on Nast porcelain in the 18th century in 1929. He then took over in 1930, the small family workshop of decoration on Limoges porcelain founded by his parents around 1905 in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, at 13, villa Faucheur. From 1930 to 1960, the Le Tallec workshop grew and its reputation extended to the most prestigious tables with notably commissions made for Queen Elizabeth II of England, Kings Mohammed V and Hassam II of Morocco, Queen Juliana of Holland, Prince of Qatar Abdelaziz bin Ahmed Al Thani, the Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the French Republic, the City of Paris, and some great fortunes or artists. At this time, he also created special decorations for the chocolate factory La Marquise de Sévigné, the perfumer Marcel Rochas, and the goldsmith house Puifforcat. In 1961, Camille Le Tallec began a long collaboration with the American jeweler Tiffany and Co., which culminated in the purchase and integration of the Le Tallec workshop into the company in 1990. In 2014, following Tiffany's decision to sell the workshop, and in the absence of a buyer or viable solution, it closed permanently after nearly 90 years of continuous activity.
