Quimper earthenware snuffbox in the shape of a book, decorated on one side with a young Breton woman with her wicker basket; on the other side a crowing rooster with the phrase "When this rooster crows my love will end", marked "Quimper" on the edge, from the 19th century.
This shaker is in good condition overall. Missing the small cap on top.
