* Porquier-Beau

In 1875, the painter Alfred Beau joined forces with the Porquier pottery. Alfred Beau was the first artist to breathe new life into Quimper pottery. During his collaboration with Porquier, from 1873 to 1903, he created sumptuous decorations: the botanical series known as the yellow border series (approximately 122 different models recorded), Breton scenes (approximately 225 models) and scenes from legends (7 models) as well as views of Breton landscapes (approximately 20 models).
