Large round dish known as an umbilicus* in Dutch Delftware, with blue and white decoration of bouquets of flowers in the center, on the rim floral and plant garlands, from the early 18th century.
This dish is in good general condition, navel (= bulge) in the center.

* Umbilicus: A rounded, central projection (of a shield, dish, plate, etc.). Umbilicus dishes were mainly used in the 16th and 17th centuries; they were used to place pancakes and fried pastries (Havardt.31889).
