Articles
Amphora-shaped vase in German Meissen porcelain, with polychrome decoration enhanced with gilding of numerous blue-violet flowers among green foliage: notably blue irises (symbol of confidence and hope), cornflowers (pure and delicate feelings) and bindweed flowers (symbol of Love), scrolled handles, from the second half of the 19th century.
This vase is in good overall condition and is very decorative due to its elegant floral design. It bears the Meissen signature on the base.
Note: the top of the base has been restored (see last photos with red arrows), wear to the gilding.
