Lovely ceramic vase top Durtal, decorated with stylized birds, signed Joel Baudouin * vintage twentieth century.

* Joel Baldwin (1931) studied at the Beaux-Arts d'Angers and the Grand Seminary of Le Mans. He studied painting with the biggest, André Lhote and Fernand Leger, and sculpture with ZADKINE at Atelier La Grande Chaumiere. Invited to travel by Robert MONTGOLFIER, he directs the craft center Garagosse for college Faggala Cairo. Back in France, he became a potter in Vallauris, and remained there from 1957 to 1960. There he met Pablo Picasso and big names such as ceramic PORTANIER Gilbert, Jean DERVAL, Roger Capron, Perrault, KOSTANDA, RATY, PICAULT.
