Ceramic artist of the twentieth century, born January 25, 1870 at Sevres. After training in the laboratory of the Sevres factory, it becomes a good chemist and worked in the factory founded by his father, Felix Optatus Miletus, in 1866 at 8 rue Troyon, Sevres, just steps from the Manufacture. At the age of twenty he gradually succeeded to it. Like him, he will continue to benefit from the collaboration of artists from the MNCS (Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres ceramics).
