Beautiful vase of Quimper faience signed HB Quimper (Odetta) 656-1374 * Rene Beauclair, decorated with geometric patterns, vintage twentieth century.
This vase is btrès good condition, it is of high quality and is very decorative. It is signed underneath.

(Ludovic Jean Joseph Marie Popineau said) 1877-1960, architect, decorator, ceramist, decorator, painter. This prolific artist who made his reputation by publishing decorative patterns art nouveau in the early twentieth century had an extraordinary activity in the period between the two wars. Painter and decorator, he was also the author of many memorials of the Great War. He participated with talent in the production of decorative ceramics for Odetta in Quimper, manufacture of which he was a major figure. He produced numerous works in Toulouse and in the Gaillac region who had no work to date him. (See Midi-Pyrénées museum website)
