Bernadette Wilde, better known under the name of artist Nadine Vivier, becomes the companion of life of André Verdet from 1965 until her death in 2004. She inspires the most beautiful love poems of Verdet, which he dedicates to him often. She began her own artistic practice in 1971 and in the early 90's undertook a series of works called "Moon Birds". Verdet called her Nadine Vivier des oiseaux.

A note: some stains and yellowing on paper, wear of time, see photos.

Painter of Dutch origin. Until 1914 he studied at the Academies of Fine Arts in Rotterdam, Brussels, Berlin and London. His travels in Vallauris inspired him later to work as a ceramist. His work is recognized and bought by the greatest museums in the world. In the 1950s, he practiced large format collage in the same spirit as Jasper Johns or Rauschenberg, and applied to "reveal the secret life" of the materials he uses.
