was a Dutch painter and graphic designer. Veldhoen grew up in Amsterdam and learned the trade from his father, who was first an advertising painter and then a painter. Veldhoen began his career as a draftsman, but quickly established himself as a free artist. Veldhoen liked doing detailed drawings and paintings of dune landscapes, self-portraits, nude women and couples in love. He learned a lot as a trainee at Binnengasthuis, where he drew patients and operations.
