Oval painted enamel plaque, most likely from Limoges, depicting Saint John the Baptist accompanied by the Lamb of God, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, seated in a bucolic rural landscape, a small stream at his feet, in a (later) blackened wood or ebonite frame, from the 18th century.
This plate is in good overall condition, good quality.
Note: some scratches/cracks on the enamel, tiny minor damage to the frame, see photos.
