Exceptional and rare pair of statues or sculptures (forming wishes to boxes) in polychrome wood representing two characters and Chinese dignitaries, wearing richly embroidered clothing stylized foliage, vintage early nineteenth century.
These statues are in good condition and are of exceptional quality. The hole in the back is used for the box part wishes. Mustaches and beards are hair.
A note: some minor accidents and losses on wood, horsehair few gaps as well (the whiskers are not well fixed), a hand was glued, a foot away, wear time, although looking at the pictures
