Set of 6 dessert (or cheese) knives, vermeillé silver blade stamped Vieillard (1st title Paris 1819-1838), Average Guarantee of Paris hallmark and JB goldsmith, mother-of-pearl handle adorned with a small escutcheon engraved with a monogram (most certainly in gold), vintage first half of the 19th century.
These knives are in good condition. A knife is hallmarked Minerva (1st title) and CL? Silversmith. the ferrules are very probably also in silver vermeillé.
