Articles
Decorative bowl that can be used as a centerpiece, body in cut crystal (most likely Baccarat or Saint-Louis) finely engraved with stylized ears of wheat, mount in solid silver hallmarked Minerva and silversmith Charles Vincent (1889-1922), chased with rose branches and leaves as well as undulating scrolls on the border, from the Art Nouveau period late 19th-early 20th centuries.
This bowl is in excellent condition and of superb quality. It is hallmarked (see photos). It rests on a small circular foot, also encircled with silver. The asymmetrical and dynamic decoration of foliage and floral motifs is typical of this period and of the Art Nouveau style, which favored themes of nature and abundance.
