Bronze cow bell, decorated with several crowns, cow and foliage, signed Albertano Frères * in Bulle (Switzerland), vintage first half of the 20th century.

This bell is in its own juice as well as its leather strap. signed see photos.

* Albertano bells

It was Michel's great-grandfather, Vittore Albertano, who founded the company in Ponte in Piedmont, in 1856. Then he moved his workshop: first to Ponts-de-Martel (VD) and finally , in La Tour-de-Trême. Already in 1896, the company received the bronze medal at the National Exhibition in Geneva. At the turn of the 20th century, the Albertano workshop moved to Bulle. Albert Albertano was born in 1897, and his son Michel, in 1944. Michel took over the workshop from his father in 1969, after having completed an apprenticeship in general mechanics at the Bochud factory in Bulle. Signature Albertino Frères (1920-1969).
