is a square-shaped silk scarf, emblematic of the French house of Hermès. Launched in 1937, it has become a classic and an icon of the brand, sometimes described, depending on the source, as timeless, transgenerational, or even legendary. This scarf, like the Kelly bag, the orange color specific to the brand, or the horse-drawn carriage of the logo, illustrates and personifies the Hermès company.
Originally, the illustrations were close to the equestrian world and hunting, then evolved towards animals, the arts, the Napoleonic epic, or the automobile, themes that regularly recur in the collections, then sport in general. It can be worn in many ways: around the neck, in the hair, as a belt, around the handle of a bag, on the wrist, etc.
