Enamelled earthenware (iridescent green) ashtray or pocket emptier signed HB Quimper, by the artist Bel Delecourt*, a gift from Société Générale to its customers, vintage 20th century.
This pocket emptier is in very good condition, signed underneath.

She moved to Quimper in 1946 and attended evening classes at the École des Beaux-Arts. For thirty years, she worked at the Henriot pottery. Women, motherhood, and Breton costume are the favorite themes of ceramic artist Bel Delecourt. In the 1970s, her art evolved towards greater simplicity, towards almost abstract forms. In 2004, she presented her latest service, produced by the HB Henriot factory, Les Ondines.
