Small terrestrial globe or miniature world map (measuring 13.5 cm high), signed JL &Cie Paris for J. Lebègue*, on a blackened wooden base, dating from around 1900, late 19th-early 20th centuries.
This globe is in good overall condition, in its original state. Signed, see photos.

* J. Lebègue & Cie was a famous Brussels publishing house in the 19th century which later opened a commercial branch in Paris. For the publication of terrestrial globes, they worked closely with the geographer R. Barbot.
