Very nice leather briefcase in gold-red maroon leather with gold-plated decoration of flowers and scrolls, monogrammed AD in the back, signed by the Maison Susse * in Paris, of the XIXth century.
This briefcase is in good condition. We do not have his key.

* Stationery Susse Brothers was founded in 1758 in Paris. The two brothers Susse, Nicolas and Victor, opened in 1806, at n ° 7-8 passage of the Panoramas, the paper mill Susse brothers where they sell "article of Paris". Faced with the success it opens in 1827 a second store place of the Exchange, side street Vivienne, which has just been created. Susse dedicated himself to cast iron sculpture from 1839, at the Exhibition of the Products of Industry, and this will become his main activity. In the same year he published his first catalog.
