Amber and meerschaum cigarette holder carved with a decoration of three small dogs (pugs) with sulfide eyes, in its original case with the inscription "Echt Meerschaum - Garantirt - Echt Bernstein" (= genuine meerschaum and amber), origin Germany or Austria, 19th century.
This cigarette holder is in good overall condition. Very good quality.
Note: missing a sulfide eye on a dog, small damage to the case (a part on the front is slightly detached), slight soiling, scratches and wear from age, see photos.
