Framed miniature hairwork, souvenir art from the Second Empire period - Napoleon III, 19th century. The central motif consists of a bouquet of flowers arranged in a wicker basket, the whole protected by a domed glass.
This hairpiece is in good condition. A fine example of sentimental art from the period, these objects were generally given as tokens of love, loyalty, or family memories (or expressions of mourning).
Please note: there are a few minor accidents, some scratches and minor damage to the frame, wear and tear from age, see photos.
