Bronze property bell, signed by the founder E. Biron* in Paris, dating from the late 19th century.
This bell is in good general condition. It has its iron yoke.
Note: traces of oxidation on the yoke, dirt and wear from age, see photos.
Edouard Biron was a foundryman in Paris from 1872 to 1910. The Biron foundry, established by Father Jean-Baptiste, opened a shop at 237 rue Saint-Martin in 1870 and its foundry was located on a perpendicular street, at 35 rue Aumaire. Edouard Biron signed his doorbells and clock chimes "E.Biron".
