is a Swiss company established luxury watch in Biel. In 1848, Louis Brandt, then aged 23, opened a counter to établissage5 in La Chaux-de-Fonds in the canton of Neuchâtel. Its watches are marked "Louis Brandt." In 1879, the two founder's son, Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt, decide to embark on industrial production "American." They finally settled in Biel in canton Bern. Before the end of the decade, the company became the largest Swiss watch. By seniority, durability, visibility (sports timing, space conquest) and its height2, Omega is one of the flagship companies of the Swiss Watch Industry. Indeed, it has been the pioneer of industrialization production (mechanization, mass production).
