Gouache representing the two-masted boat "Marie Suzanne", Captain Germain Couëdel * (home port Bordeaux), sailing under full sail, from the late 19th-early 20th century.
This gouache is in good general condition, it is in its own juice. Its frame is posterior (damaged), label of the framer on the back. It is under glass (broken in an angle at the top).
A note: broken glass in an angle, the paper is slightly warped under the glass, yellowing and stains, accidents and losses on the frame (redone gilding), wear of time, well look at the photos.
Captain in the Merchant Navy. Captain notably on the two-master Marie Suzanne (Bordeaux) and the Dundee "Les Amis Réunis". Resident of the island of Arz in Brittany (Morbihan).
