A pair of Orientalist gouaches depicting beautiful North African landscapes of the Maghreb, in giltwood frames with columns, dating from the late 19th century. The first gouache depicts a Bedouin leading his donkey along a wadi lined with palm trees, with the rock formations of the Atlas Mountains in the background, most likely a landscape of the Algerian desert.
The second gouache also depicts a nomad leading his dromedary through the same landscape, with palm trees and various vegetation.
