Large Baroque wooden sculpture of an angel, putto, and cherub, part of a 17th-century altarpiece
Articles
Large wooden sculpture representing a chubby cherub or putto with curly hair, seated on a column and holding the drape of his garment in his hands, decorative element of a Baroque style altarpiece, from the 17th century.
This sculpture is in good overall condition, superb quality. The column base is later (19th century) and has been adapted for the cherub; it wobbles slightly on it.
Please note: there are some accidents, missing and cracked wood, scratches and lack of patina in places, some wormholes and wear from age, look carefully at the photos.
