Wooden sculpture of the Black Forest (Black Forest *) representing a character with glasses reading a sheet and wearing a frock coat, his legs forming hooks for hanging the whips and riding crops jumper (hooks whip), period nineteenth century.

This sculpture is in good condition, it is called a "hook whip" (whip hooks) used for riders to store their whips and crops. The hooks are little horn buff.

A note: the sheet was broken and glued, small lack of glasses, a hook was also repaired, light scratches and wear, see pictures (see red arrows).

* The wooden objects carved Black Forest are not from Germany but were manufactured in the region of Brienz, Switzerland.
