Finely chiseled English sterling silver sprinkler, London hallmarks, letter dated 1900 and silversmith CCP for Charles Clement Pilling (Maison Sibray, Hall & Co*), from the late 19th-early 20th century.

This duster is in good condition. Engraved on the body with a name and a date (Sept 1901).

A note: slight scratches, dirt and wear of time, see photos.

*The company was founded in Sheffield by Frederick Sibray and Job Frank Hall and was active in the manufacture of silversmiths and electroplates at Fitzwalter Works, 111 St Mary's Road and at its London showrooms at 30 Ely Place, Holborn (circa 1890). Frederick Sibray died in 1891 and Charles Clement Pilling partnered with Job Frank Hall until (1896) the business was converted into a limited company as Sibray, Hall & Co Ltd. When FJ Hall retired (circa 1900) he turned over his interests in the business to CC Boulochage. The house is present with its production of silverware (dessert services, trophies and crowns, cups and bowls, tea and coffee services, etc.) at the 1912 Jewelers' Exhibition.
