Set of 12 finely chiseled solid silver oyster forks decorated with palmettes and fine egg-and-dart friezes, hallmarked with Minerva (1st standard) and goldsmith's hallmark EP for Puiforcat (1857-1927), in their original box, dating from the late 19th-early 20th centuries.

These forks are in good condition. Hallmarked, see photos. Box signed "Argenterie Puiforcat - Bozzo & Garona Angers".

Note: micro-scratches and slight wear from age, inside of the box a little pitted and yellowed, see photos.

Puiforcat is a silversmithing house founded in 1820 in Paris by brothers Emile and Joseph-Marie Puiforcat, and their cousin Jean-Baptiste Fuchs. Puiforcat specializes in creating everyday objects and lifestyle pieces in classic, Art Deco, and contemporary styles. Puiforcat has been part of the Hermès group since 1993.
